Last Week In Spain, PS Portal Sold Over Double The Number Of Units That Xbox Consoles Did

Despite Black Friday being recognized today globally in stores, the reality is that deals have been surfacing for a few weeks now. This has been evident in the prices of consoles and video games.

Even the latest products that are not on sale are experiencing a strong start. In Spain, this has occurred with PS Portal. The Remote Play system for PlayStation 5 by Sony has sold 5,700 units during its initial week, a figure that is more than double, almost triple, the number of Xbox Series units sold within the same time frame (approximately 2,000 consoles).

This signifies a sturdy beginning for Sony's most recent peripheral in this generation. However, they will need to continue marketing it to maintain its market presence. The previous release this year from Sony, PS VR2, also had an excellent start in Spain (selling 8,000 headsets within its first week), but shortly after, sales dropped dramatically to barely 100 units weekly.
